This has become our local after Morris dancing practice. Great beer, wine & welcome. Interesting collection of artifacts from all over the world to look at whilst you are drinking, was that there last time??? Warm log burner out of season & in house dogs to pet. Dog & walker friendly. Folk sing around once a month. A must if you are in the area.
Lovely real ale pub, 5 ales on. The locals are very friendly the beer was great. I went in most nights of the week & most nights had a new beer on!
Really friendly staff, tasty food, good selection of beers on tap, larger, ales. An open fire. In a lovely location nestled down between the hills. Can't ask for more.
Best pub in the region, no doubt. A sanctuary for Middleton's tight-knit community. Great selection of ales, lovely events held regularly and —saving the best for the last— owners whose hospitality is second to none.
Always pop in for a pint or 3 when in the area. Ale is always in top condition and at a weekend there's warm pork pies to die for on the bar.
Lovely little pub! Very friendly staff and very reasonable prices! Got a round of drinks for 6 people for under £20 ! They are also pet friendly so was nice to have the option of sitting inside the pub if we wanted. They don't sell food but on Fridays a little takeaway pizza van parks outside the pub and does fresh stone baked pizzas which you can eat at the pub
I absolutely love this place, it always feels like I'm going home, yet I have never lived there! The landlords are great, as are all the locals, including the local band Left Hand Drive! I'm not a beer drinker, just a designated driver... But I hear its great Lovely eclectic decor, comfy chairs, cannot wait to return. Thank you all
Great local pub with a good variety of week kept beers. Whilst they do not cook food this is not a problem as on several nights there is outside catering. We particularly like Belle Mia pizzas and have also been for fish and chips that were also very good. If you are in the area a visit is recommended
